I was recommended this course by an acquaintance who had previously undertaken their PT course with TRAINFITNESS. I was a teacher looking for options to allow me to escape the classroom. As such, a distance learning course was the only way I could have gained these qualifications. I was able to sign up for the L2 Gym Instructor and L3 Personal Trainer courses alongside each other as part of the Diploma course. The course was very straightforward and allowed me to work at my own pace (within the year allocation) and decide on the order of completion of the work to suit me. I chose to complete all the online theory first, then the written parts of the coursework, and finally complete the practical aspects. In reality, I would recommend that you complete the LAP (Learner Achievement Portfolios) activities alongside the theory, as it saves you having to go back and 'find' the relevant bits of theory, which, in hindsight, ended up taking me longer. I would absolutely, 100% recommend the e-classes to support both the LAP and practical assessments. The personalised guidance from an experienced professional is invaluable here. TRAINFITNESS are sticklers for quality and accuracy, so using the e-classes ensured I hit the right level of detail and gave them the detail they required. Although I don't have much previous experience in this industry, I sat in e-classes with other individuals who had, and there was a sense that because they had been there and done it, they thought they knew what TRAINFITNESS wanted, i.e. where the emphasis should lie etc, and they weren't always correct. My advice would be to take the specific advice from the TRAINFITNESS staff and don't allow previous experience (and potentially bad habits) influence you. I had the pleasure of having Rob as my tutor for the e-classes across both the GI and PT courses. Incredibly experienced and knowledgeable, Rob was also very patient and answered many, many (!) questions clearly, in a non-jargon way that allowed me to understand and then apply this to my work. As a mid-40s woman who does not look like many of the images in the TRAINFITNESS branding (perhaps my only criticism?), I felt a little intimidated by the scope of the course, but Rob was careful to paint a very inclusive picture of the industry, and to use my own knowledge and experience to make me feel like I absolutely had something I could offer, moving forward. If completing the distance learning course, please make sure you leave plenty of time to make sure you have compressed your videos before uploading them - it was not as straight forward process for me and took much longer than I thought it would! Also use the support of the staff to help you with this. On the whole, a very well organised and supported course that has its practices based on up to date research. The staff are wonderful and if and when I choose to expand my qualifications, I will use TRAINFITNESS to do it. Thank you Rob and the team!

Did my Level 2 and 3 Personal Trainer at Trainfitness, London. I studied the online course content which is made by Trainfitness and then attended the training in person. My instructor Ben is amazing! He is very experienced and enthusiastic about fitness. Always going above and beyond and making sure everyone is having a good experience. Learning in person allowed me to observe the instructor’s coaching style and improve on mine too. I would love to do more courses with Trainfitness in the future!

Fantastic site!

Over the past couple of months I've been undergoing my Level 3 PT course on Trainfitness. Biggest positive for me has been the ease of use, everything is well laid out and makes it easy to transition from module to module.

The worst fitness provider out there! They teach you absolutely nothing! I’m an experienced fitness professional. I have level 3 personal trainer and I did 200hr yoga teacher training in India last year. This is a bit of a late review but I can do it now as I have something to compare it with. I just started doing stott Pilates with ymca and it’s so much better! 2 weeks of in person training. Nice handbooks. Train fitness couldn’t even provide that. They just took material from somewhere else and put it all together on their website, so it’s a total mess really. Plus they make you pay £250 every month after the course expires. Also you pay for exams etc. but really and truly it’s all self study. I came to do in person training for 2 weekends and it was extremely strange as 2 of us were there in person and the rest of the group did it through zoom. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t separate the groups into 2 but I guess they don’t have enough people. Every time I had any questions, regarding the material I would be told to submit first. So yeah this course is literally just about making money. You won’t become a good and skilful Pilates teacher after , as that’s how I felt and that’s why I decided to just leave it instead of investing more money into it. They also made anatomy and psychology exams very difficult and want you to write 12 week progressive program for your client and your class as a beginner and new teacher? Like what ? It’s totally crazy. So, avoid and don’t waste your money and time. The price is attractive but it’s better to spend a bit more and do a better quality course.

GI and PT courses help me prepare for my career in the fitness industry. The depth of knowledge acquired in these courses gave me a new confidence.
Ben was an amazing instructor, very knowledgeable and fun at the same time.
Highly recommended, especially in-clinic options, you can take so much from studying in a group with an experienced instructor.

I've finished Fitness Instructor Level 2 and on my way to complete my level 3 PT (T3 HIIT assessment completed now). I am doing online training (theory), and in-person for practical. Amazing environment, where you can meet new people, and so far has been a great experience, with amazing, very knowledgeable teachers (Kate and Ben), they truly support you, and make it feel like a safe space.
Every question I've had while doing theory, online support reply promptly as well.
For more courses, probably will not even bother to look for another school as the offer is big and the positivity there is amazing.

I did my Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer training courses with TRAINFITNESS (11 days in person). My group was a small size with coach Ben. The delivery of the courses was exceptional, funny and friendly. Ben made the course thoroughly enjoyable whilst making sure each member of the group felt safe and confident to ask questions and learn.

The guidance from Ben when it came to the practical assessments was thorough and very clearly communicated. My assessments were assessed by Rose and Ben who were fantastic assessors, being both very professional and informative with feedback. Both an asset to TRAINFITNESS and inspirations for new GIs or PTs.

I will continue my journey with TRAINFITNESS as I look to complete the Level 4 Master PT course. If you are considering doing any courses with TRAINFITNESS then please consider them as a great place to do any of the courses they offer. Many thanks to all those at TRAINFITNESS, I'm sure our paths will cross again!

I’ve taken various professional qualifications and courses - it’s not often you walk away feeling like you’ve received so much value. Today I completed my two weeks of L2 GI and L3 PT - the course and staff (Ben and Katie) were absolutely exceptional. To say the gym, the teaching materials and the tuition were high quality is a gross understatement. Amazing attention to detail, ongoing support, and teaching from industry-leading tutors who are IQA qualified. Would give a sixth star for the support I had from Ben, Katie and director Steele through a severe injury and accommodating those circumstances, plus assisting me in converting from distance learning to in-person. Our entire group loved the experience. Really glad I did the in-person course and would highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of getting a fitness qualification.
