Ich bin als Pilates-Anfängerin zu Sophie Richards gekommen und mochte das Training von der ersten Stunde an. Inzwischen gehe ich seit mehreren Jahren hin. Sophie ist eine wunderbare Trainerin. Sie geht auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse jedes Kursteilnehmers ein. Mit ihrer offenen Art sorgt sie dafür, dass das Training Spaß macht. Sie weiß wie man motiviert und unterstützt auch in Gruppentrainings jeden einzelnen dabei sich weiterzuentwickeln. Große Empfehlung für eine tolle Trainerin!

Ich gehe jetzt schon über ein Jahr zu Sophie zum personal training. Es macht mir viel Spaß. Sophie ist sehr fachkundig und geht auf meine individuellen Bedürfnisse gut ein. Ich kann sie nur empfehlen.

I had 30 sessions with Sophie and it was amazing. I started pilates because I hurt my back and had a herniated disc. Sophie knows how to approach people like me and make us more conscious of our bodies. At first I was very afraid to do any sports, but now I am more comfortable. My pain has decreased a lot and my body has become stronger. Totally recommended!

UPD I am now 5 years with Sophie doing private sessions. Over these years not only my body got strong and beautiful but almost impossible to relieve symptoms of fibromyalgia get better. I am grateful every day.

I am now after 8 private classes with Sophie - what brought me was the chronic debilitating pain in my belly due to the surgery. This is the first time after 1.5 year in pain that I feel the difference in my belly wall - it is much much better, I could not believe I will feel good again! Sophie has a great understanding of the body, and lots of experience — she knows how to customize the exercises in a way that I can enjoy my muscles working AND improve my pain syndrome to the extent I could not hope!! I am just enjoying the new feeling in my belly, and am so happy.

I got to know in Sophie`s Studio in october throught the Erasmus-projekt. Her teaching style: individual, professional, smooth progressive. The exercises have been chosen according to the client`s body funktion with justification. I really recommed her to help you with your body issues.

I have travelled a lot and lived in many different countries experiencing Pilates and without a doubt Sophie's was one of the best experiences ever. Sophie's method helped me understand the core basics of what is needed to perform pilates correctly. While I underwent this training before, I found the approach and scientific explanation regarding what the body is actually doing made a huge difference. Coupled to that the classes are in English which really suited me given I was only in Berlin for a 6 mth period! And Sophie is a really open and kind instructor - her students matter and we were closly watched to make sure we were following the practice well!

I've had back problems for years now (since a very stupid accident) and tried a whole mess of different physio-therapy and exercise techniques to help, but still was regularly ending up with pain so intense, that I'd have to stay home from work. I'd tried Pilates twice before, but the teachers had had no luck addressing my issues and often times I'd end up hurting more *after* Pilates class.
...but then I stumbled on Pulse Pilates a year ago and have been going twice a week —in private and group classes— ever since. From the start, not only did Sophie tailor the exercises to my level and injury, but she also really worked to chip away at alleviating my pain by gradually honing in on what the true issues were. Once we had framed the problem using exercises to strengthen my core without re-activating the injury, we were able to really get down to work. Now, for the first time in 6 years, I am mostly pain free, but when the issues do pop up again, Sophie has taught me exercises to get control of and reduce the pain, even putting together a little series of personalized exercises I can work through when I'm traveling for work.
In short: Sophie's like a pilates-ninja, you couldn't be in better hands!

Pulse Pilates is amazing! Sophie is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and so friendly. I only got to take one class during my short stay in Berlin but can’t wait to come back and take more! Highly recommend.
