A MUST HAVE for people with Parkinson’s and their care partners.
My husband was diagnosed a couple of years ago and we were fortunate to learn about PWR! We attended the RETREAT in May this year and it was without a doubt, life changing for both of us.
The staff is spectacular! Well trained, enthusiastic, patient, kind, understanding and effective. We learned to pole walk which we have now incorporated into our weekly routine. We felt total support within the
people with Parkinson’s group, care givers group and all of the staff and educators.
Physicians and researchers attend and provide enlightening presentations about nutrition, treatment, clinical trials and all things Parkinson’s.
This is an absolute must to explore if you are impacted by PD.
AND:
The IMMERSIVE ONE ON ONE WEEK was the perfect “tune up” for my husband which we did in November of this year. They designed an individualized exercise program for him which he does when we are at home in California. Jennifer Bazan-Wigle leads this program. We met her at the Retreat and knew instantly that she was going to be a longtime
member of our PD team regardless of where we live.
The week was positively perfect and we would not have changed one thing.
Our ongoing plan is to attend the May retreat plus at least one Immersive week every year.
Don’t miss these opportunities.
And if you live in the Tucson area, be grateful for daily access to this facility.
