If you want someone who will assess your fitness capabilities and work with you to identify your fitness goals and aspirations this is the most amazing experience. Training goals are developed and tailored to help you achieve more each session.
I work harder each session because of the methodical approach in what I am able to achieve. Who knew that working out with a trainer could be so much fun and challenging.
Jon puts you at ease because his plans are empirically driven (yes he enters your progress on his computer) and tailors your workouts to what you experience in between sessions.
I love the discussion on why we do a particular exercise and feel confident in the benefits of his training plan.
I am a fitness instructor and I feel inspired to be the best I can be at 58. Age is not a limitation and Jon will help you achieve your fitness goals. Count on it and love every minute this challenging adventure will bring!

I've always been skeptical about trainers from several past experiences, but Jon is amazing. Asked about entire athletic/injury history not just what is recent with the last few years and came up with a rehab training that fits and targets everything that's been effected. He's also taken in consideration what I currently do for hobbies and competition and has incorporated exercises that strengthen and support those. Speaking as a massage therapist that focuses on sports therapy, I cannot recommend or praise anyone higher.

Jon was amazing for meeting for the first time to access my lower back issues..He went over different exercises to do to help with the back pain. After completely some of the exercises what a difference it made to my back. I was able to do more than when I walked in there. Jon is very knowledgeable on what he does and knows what people can do and not. It was a nice relief to meet someone like that. I’d highly recommend him to anyone. My son recommended him to me and I’m glad he did.

I met Jon through my mom, who has been working with him for over a year now and has seen incredible progress. I've been dealing with on and off lower back pain that has worsened quite a bit in the past month, and Jon was able to provide a quick and thorough evaluation. He gave me multiple corrective exercises to target the root of the issue, and they have already relieved most of my pain after two weeks. His detailed assessments reveal imbalances and weaknesses that have been hidden and then he designs routine to address them. In five months I have seen gains in strength, mobility, and stability as well as sports specific improvements. BOOM! this is the place to become stronger and fitter.

I’ve worked with Jon at Empirical fitness for almost 5 years now after meeting him at a weightlifting certification for trainers. I’ve never worked with another trainer that took the time and effort I’ve seen him put into his clients. I’ve spent a considerable portion of my life working in the fitness industry and am a very capable trainer in my own right and I make the choice to get training from Jon because he’s just that good. I’ve come to him with shoulder and back pain from multiple injuries and long standing mobility issues and he’s gotten me into shape and pain free for multiple sports and events like gymnastics, mma, jiu jitsu, acro performing and general heavy labor. Empirical fitness is absolutely worth the investment and you’ll get so much more out of it than you put in
