Had a great night after driving all day. Clean, fast, no smell, no bugs, and comfy beds. My family had a great night with a good breakfast in the morning. The indoor heated pool looked so nice but we didn’t have time to go. It’s so close to restaurants and Walmart.

Pros: Clean. Friendly front desk mgr / check in. Decent breakfast. Location?, well, it’s Lubbock so not sure how to rate that but nothing negative to say.
Cons: Outdated. Color scheme in rooms are depressing even if you like mid 80’s decor. TVs are small and like everything else, pretty outdated.
Conclusion: if you’re just passing through and not picky, just fine. Otherwise, for a few bucks more Marriott has other options.

This hotel just changed ownership and they are doing absolutely everything they can to make this an amazing place to stay. They are very accommodating and extremely nice. Would stay here again. It's also walking distance to multiple restaurants

I am disabled. The young lady slipped up and said the handicap rooms are for disabled people that need them.
She offered to put me on the second floor next to the elevator. The room is the last one at the end of the hall.
The floor has torn carpet and a soft spot that caused me to have a minor fall. Luckily the bed was there to help with that.
I cannot believe Fairfield Inn would put their name on a dump like this. This is the quality of a motel 6 or super 8.
There isn't a microwave in the room.
Quite possibly the worse hotel I have stayed in next to a roach motel.
Will not use this hotel again.

I always read the reviews from visitors that have stayed and it amazes me how some can rate a 5 and others 1 that is one BIG difference. I have been a Marriot member for at least 18 years and before I retired i stayed in Marriots for about an average 275 days a year. Mainly extended stays like Residence Inns.

I was greet at the front desk by a very friendly women. She was aided by a younger man who was exually as accomidating. My room was upgraded to a suite perhaps because of my status or the availability.

Room very clean so I am amazed that it was not for some. Although it may not be the newest hotel it is well maintained. Believe I have been in quite a few that are not. This is one of the reason I ask of the age. I am very well pleased I had my doubts!!!!

Positive: Nice staff Negative: Shampoo and conditioner bottles were ripped off their mounts, slow draining tub (possibly clogged), breakfast was out of items... no one checking for replacement?

My wife and I have been staying at this hotel off and on for the past 3 years. During that time we have gotten to know the staff and visa versa. They are always friendly and accommodating when we need help with anything. Recently we had a death in the family and the staff surprised us with flowers and a card this morning. Should you need a place to stay with great service that treat you like family, I highly recommend saying here.

We walked into the room and it was oddly humid and musty. It wasn't until I slept and looked up from the shower, that I noticed the black mold resonating in the room. I didn't think Lubbock was humid! If you value your health, do not stay here.
