Dani & her team of fitness trainers are absolutely AMAZING!!! I was looking for a workout space that I could feel empowered and this exceeded my expectations. The first session was simply a conversation with the trainer solely for the purposes of learning what was important to me so they could tailor not just the workouts, but also ways to help me feel inspired as a whole person. That made me feel so special. The trainers were sure to respect and be mindful of what could seemingly be small details but were important me. That for me is priceless!

The physical space itself is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It was designed with so much intentionality that it made the workout sessions even more enjoyable.

The small group sessions are lovely. They aren’t overstimulating and that was key for me. Every workout session left me feeling inspired, encouraged and renewed not just physically but mentally & emotionally.

Lastly, Dani, the owner and founder, is an absolute PLEASURE to do business with and her passion for mind and body fitness is evident. She wants every client to get what they need to feel empowered. She makes herself accessible and easy to communicate with either by phone, email or text.

As a nurse leader, I am deeply appreciative of what she has created at Very Personal Training and will continue to do support her business not only with my own personal training but also with group training events that I will host for my clinical team and friends.

I love this studio! It's a great space to workout it in, the equipment is varied so your workout is always fun and interesting.

My daughter and I did buddy training with Victoria and she was amazing. It's not easy to design workouts for both a middle-aged woman and a teenage girl, but Victoria nailed it every time! She is so knowledgeable and also so generous in sharing her knowledge, so not only are my daughter and I more fit and healthy, but we are also more knowledgeable about how fitness training works which is something we can incorporate into the rest of our lives.

Very Personal Training is a neighborhood gem. Give it a try, you won't be sorry!

I was very intimidated by the idea of starting personal training; I've always been pretty out of shape and worried about not being able to keep up or being judged. I've been coming here once a week for about 10 months and train with Victoria (who is great!!!). Both my experience with my trainer and with the vibes of the studio in general has been very accepting and has helped me create a fitness routine that's worked for me. I highly recommend Very Personal Training, especially if you're anxious about getting started.

Very Personal Training is a great small neighborhood studio for trainer sessions, and it lives up to its name! I train with Victoria, and it's been a great experience. She is really knowledgable and creates programs specifically tailored to each client. I've worked with her through various stages of full strength and recoveries, and I've always felt comfortable, safe, and cared for - while still being pushed in the way I signed up for.

VPT in Park Slope is the best ! Great, clean and well-outfitted studio that is never crowded. Usually just two trainers and two trainees most of the times I've worked out there. I was paired with Daniel who really helped me prepare for a half marathon and get me in better shape. Very attentive in-take procedure makes sure you get exactly the types of workouts that will be most beneficial for your specific goals. Great care is also paid to injury prevention while still challenging you to pursue your best effort. Can't recommend highly enough !

I have been going to VPT for about 3 years and I cannot say enough good things about it! It's a clean, cheerful, well-equipped space and a wonderful, supportive, healthy environment. The trainers a) seriously know their stuff (I had some medical issues, and my physical therapists were amazed at how many medically-approved movements I was already doing) b) work with YOUR body, finding the perfect balance of challenging, safe and fun and c) are just awesome, smart, funny people. (Shout out to Zosia, who singlehandedly turned me into a person who enjoys core workouts AND possibly rescued my wonky spine, and Victoria, who mixes boxing and music in a way that can make anyone feel like a superhero!)

I look forward to every workout, and it's often the best part of my week. And the little community of other clients is also delightful, people are so friendly and encouraging of one another. There is ZERO judgment of any kind, and you will see women of every shape, size, and age kicking butt, working hard, but always smiling. It's a wonderful place to get strong, get healthy (physically AND mentally), and find out how much you are capable of at any stage of your fitness journey.
