Manning was fantastic to work with! I knew the basics of how to swim and have recently began more serious lap swimming. This was my first formal lesson focused on form and efficiency.

I was amazed at how helpful the session was for just the first one (30min) I can’t imagine to how much growth I’ll have with even more time together.

She was patient, easy to understand, and didn’t make me feel bad about how I was swimming. She checked for comprehension.

Manning did an audit of my stroke and recorded it so I could see what I was doing. We walked through where the gaps were and talked about how to correct it. I had struggled with getting tired within my second lap ~25yards, and after applying her suggestions in just the first session, I was able to swim 400yards without getting super tired.

I would 100% recommend any swimmer of all levels that want to improve their game work with Manning.

Manning is a phenomenal trainer! She takes the time to understand my needs and understands the anxiety I have from working with bad personal trainers in the past. She is also very skilled at building and balancing the body in ways that most trainers overlook. I highly recommend Manning for your Swim or Gym training needs!

I came to Manning to help me do not drown during a triathlon and improve my swimming. After a few weeks of working with her, she had me training outside the water to improve my body posture and even get better with my running. All of these looked to improve my posture while in the water and help me to swim.
Manning is very oriented to detail, she brings her GoPro to video the sessions, and you can see by her comments afterward that she studied the film, take notes, and change the training based on the videos.
She also brings excellent media tools to visualize the human body from muscles and bones in her tablet to see and understand where the training is heading.
The most important for me is her assertiveness. The timely feedback is critical for adult learners in my experience due to it takes more repetitions than when we were younger.
In general, I am pretty happy with Manning. I highly recommend her sessions and embrace a journey of knowledge and challenging sessions (oh yeah, the muscles will be sore after some sessions) to get to the next level.

I have been training with Manning since October. I have been attending Pilates classes but wanted to feel stronger. I like to work in the yard and play with my grandkids. I noticed more strength in my legs, arms, and core after only a couple of sessions. She communicates what body parts we are working and how it will help in my day to day life as well. She is friendly but she is willing to challenge me to do more than I would do on my own. I’m waking up in the morning feeling more positive and energetic, I would definitely recommend her!

Training with Manning has been great. Having been out of the water for an extended period of time she has really helped me get back on track for reaching my goals. She is very thoughtful when putting together weekly workouts and really focuses on overall conditioning and longevity so you do not burn out or become injured. She also does a great job of matching pool workouts with dryland workouts to create a a well rounded workout plan that matches fitness with technique. Whether you have been swimming most of your life or are new to the water she definitely brings something to the table for everyone and I could not recommend her enough!
