I was looking for a kickboxing class for my 3 children. I came across Kinetic Kickboxing and we decided to try a class to see if it was the right fit for them. That’s all they needed! They loved it! Michael is knowledgeable and able to adapt to his students. I was amazed at his ability to guide my three beginners then shift to doing more advanced moves with other students. The classes are small which is also a big plus. Michael is able to give each student individualized support throughout the class to correct techniques and form. He has a positive attitude and is very passionate about what he does. Michael is also patient and works with my kids at their pace. He is also very flexible and worked with our family to find a schedule that worked for us. And boy do they sweat!!! Overall, Kinetic Kickboxing was a great find! Highly recommend!

Classes are fun and technique focused. The instructor, Michael, really goes above and beyond to ensure each student is working at their own skill and fitness level. Also, his enthusiasm and coaching style is on point. I appreciate that classes aren’t just "one size fits all" and the workouts are tailored to everyone’s ability, making them perfect for all fitness levels. The community vibe is also very supportive and non-competitive, even when practicing light/no-contact sparring. Some people are just born to be great instructors, and Michael is one of them. Incredibly knowledgeable about his craft, yet patient and friendly. Even during group sessions, he'll spend time with each individual providing specific and tailored instruction. Venue is nice and clean. I've been working with Mike Mills for over 5 years, including time as a student in his kickboxing classes, in addition to private one-on-one coaching in resistance training and boxing/kickboxing lessons. Prior to working with Mike, I had 3 other boxing or kickboxing coaches since 2014, and Mike is about the best coach I've had. In class he gives clear instructions and carefully observes that students follow proper technique. He helps and encourages students to aim for the target and to punch hard. Mike listens to my questions and addresses any problems I may have, and helps me to improve my kickboxing form to generate powerful kicks and punches. In addition, he is full of positive energy and his classes are fun while also instructive.

When I started the class I had no experience with kickboxing before, now I have been going to class for about 1.5 years on and off ( but been going consistently this past 5 months) and I’m much better than before thanks to Michael! The classes are fun, 1 hr went by so quickly each time. This class is good for all levels and for all ages and good for a great workout!

If you want to truly master self defense you need to sign up asap. The instructor Michael knows how to teach and focuses on your progress with diligence. The space is safe and clean. The pricing is definitely better than his nearest competitors.

I started coming to classes a few months ago with a friend of mine. As a beginner with no prior martial arts experience, I felt welcomed and encouraged by smaller class size and those with more training. Michael is really great at making each class different with constant focus on the foundational skills.

He and his protégé, Matthew, go above and beyond demonstrating techniques at the advanced level, and breaking them down effectively for beginners. I’m able to get individual attention if I’m struggling to get my form correct, and I already feel like my balance and strength have improved since starting in March. The mobility stretches and warmup are my favorite part, and make a huge difference in my ability to get through challenging myself in class.
