Mrs Erica is a great piano teacher with a loving spirit and passion for this musical art! Over the past 10 years, we’ve had the opportunity to experience lessons for our oldest daughter in person and then, after relocating out of the area, return to piano with both of our daughters now receiving lessons virtually. Mrs Erica’s knowledge and love for music, patience in teaching, and genuine care for her students and their abilities to excel in the skill is only part of the reason she is a phenomenal piano instructor. Both of our daughters feel confident in their ability to learn, practice, and perform music on the piano. Lessons are not overwhelming, but impactful due to her teaching technique and ability to identify and target the needs of each student. Highly recommend Mrs Erica of Piano Fingers Hyde Park, if looking for piano lessons for your student or even if you are an adult learner!

Our son has been going to piano fingers for the past 2 years. Mrs.Ericka is very knowledgeable and professional, and very good with our son. She is patient and kind, and she makes piano lessons fun! I would definitely recommend piano fingers!

For some time, my wife and I sought a piano instructor to connect and educate our child musically. It wasn't easy because most instructors were temporary teachers. We assumed our desires were unrealistic until we met Ms. Lyda. Ms. Lyda instantly connected with our child and began to teach her proper musical technique, and she challenged our daughter's musical pieces, such as Ragtime and Piano classics. Ms. Lyda is a phenomenal musical educator who knows her field of study.

Ms. Ericka is great! My 8y/o twin boys are EXTREMELY active and Ms. Ericka can calm them as well get them to focus on the lesson because she makes it fun! 10 out of 10, definitely recommend!! My initial thoughts were that I couldn’t afford private lessons and because of the popular hype park location, parking would be hard both were untrue there are always spots and price is very, very fair. Again, 10 out of 10.

The teacher made two lesson appointments at the same slot for a private lesson. Because of that, my daughter lost the opportunity to take piano lessons in the summer.

Here are the details: I got a confirmation message one month before the first day of the lesson. On the first day, we got to the class on time. However, the door was closed, and no one was there. We called the office a few times but got no answer.

After the expected lesson start time, we got a response from the teacher who explained uptightly that she was having another lesson and was not able to teach us. No compensation.

We met Mrs. Sandru and Piano Fingers around 2017. My daugther Matri is on the Autism Spectrum and we were taking a Speech Pathology class in the same building. Matri issue is getting her interpersonal thoughts and feeling out. And bringing life into fruition. Piano Finger was literally, down the hall. We enrolled and Mrs. Sandru has not given up on keeping Matri focus. Matri has been taught numerous song and has participated in all of Piano Finger recitals. Not only that, Piano Fingers have invited us to the Museum of Science and Industry, we saw the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at the Apostolic Church of God and even attended a festival at the same Church, we rode in Mrs. Sandru car in the annual Hyde Park parade. Throwing candy out of the car window to the kids and adults. All of Mrs. Sandru student are special in their own way. But, I give a great big thanks to all of extra work she puts in for my daughter. A great school come see for yourself.
